A message from the Principal

It has been an incredible privilege to serve as Principal of Groveland Elementary School for the past year. As I begin my second year in this role, I find myself even more grateful for the opportunity to lead such a remarkable school community.

In many ways, returning to Groveland has felt like coming home. My very first administrative role in Central Bucks was as the Assistant Principal of Groveland Elementary in 2008. It was here that I first experienced the strength of this community, the warmth of our families, the partnership between home and school, the spirit of the Grizzlies, and the unwavering commitment to student growth. One year into this journey as principal, I can confidently say that those qualities remain as strong as ever.

Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to learn alongside our students, staff, and families, celebrate successes, navigate challenges, and deepen my appreciation for all that makes Groveland such a special place. I am continually inspired by the dedication of our educators, the enthusiasm of our students, and the partnership of our families, all of whom contribute to a school culture where children can thrive.

One of the highlights of my first year has been working collaboratively with our incredible Home & School Association. Their unwavering support, countless volunteer hours, and commitment to enriching the school experience for our students have been instrumental in strengthening our sense of community. Whether supporting school events, organizing family activities, recognizing staff, or creating memorable experiences for our students, the Home & School Association exemplifies the power of partnership. I am deeply grateful for their leadership, generosity, and dedication to Groveland Elementary.

As we look ahead, my commitment remains rooted in the same leadership values that guided me from the outset. Our Great Grizzly Guiding Principles continue to shape my work and decision-making each day:

These principles have served as an anchor throughout my first year and will continue to guide our collective efforts as we build on Groveland's many strengths. Together, we will continue creating a school environment where every child feels known, challenged, supported, and celebrated.

Thank you for your partnership, trust, and support throughout my first year as principal. I am proud of all we have accomplished together and excited for what lies ahead. It is truly an honor to serve the Groveland community, and I look forward to continuing our work together to ensure that Groveland remains an exceptional place for students to learn, grow, and thrive.
