Principal
Mr. Mike Testani
It is with great excitement and heartfelt appreciation that I introduce myself as the new principal of Groveland Elementary School. In many ways, this already feels like coming home. My very first administrative role in Central Bucks was as the Assistant Principal of Groveland Elementary in 2008. It was here that I first witnessed the strength of this community, the warmth, the partnership between home and school, the spirit of the Grizzlies, and the unwavering focus on student growth. Returning to Groveland as principal is not only an exciting professional chapter, but a personal full-circle moment.
As I begin my role as Principal, my goal is to ensure a smooth, responsive, and student-centered leadership shift. I know how important it is to enter a new school community with humility, clarity, and a deep commitment to collaboration. Groveland’s size, identity, and existing leadership structure, especially the partnership with Assistant Principal Christie Corcoran, present a unique opportunity to learn from what is already working while thoughtfully guiding our continued growth. To help ground this work, I’ve established five Great Grizzly Guiding Principles that reflect my leadership values and approach:
- Keep Students at the Center – Every decision must serve children.
- Listen and Learn First – Understanding precedes change.
- Honor What’s Working – Build on existing strengths.
- Lead with Integrity and Visibility – Be present and consistent.
- Foster Collaboration and Empower – Leadership is a shared endeavor.
These principles will shape my daily work and long-term vision for Groveland. I am here to serve this community, to support every student, and to partner closely with families and staff to ensure all children feel known, challenged, and celebrated.
